Guthrie Mrs. Fidilia Minerva Guthrie, aged 70 years, nine months and three days, one of the oldest and most highly respected residents of Fairchance for the past 50 years, died in the family residence Friday morning at 8 o'clock. She was the wife of David Guthrie. For many years she was an active and earnest worker in the Fairchance Free Methodist church. Besides her husband, she leaves the following children: Urbin A Guthrie, Fairchance; Mrs. Howard Grimm, Phoenix, Ariz.; Mrs. Grover Dils, Republic; Mrs. John Blosser, Old Frame; Mrs James R. Bailey, Fairchance; Grover G. and George Cecil Guthrie, both of Boston; Paul D., Akron, O.; Mrs. Dan Seaman, Isabella; Norman Guthrie and Mrs. Charles Cole, both of Akron, O. One sister, Mrs. Martha Winaught, also survives. Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Mr. Speer of the Free Methodist church in the family residence Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Burial in Maple Grove cemetery, Fairchance.
