George W.L. Murray
1860-January 5, 1929

George W.L. Murray, 88 years old, a former resident of Springfield Township, died 
Saturday night near Remington, VA, where he was engaged in work on a farm. He had 
been ill for nine days with pneumonia. Mr. Murray was unmarried. He is survived by a 
brother, Elijah Murray, of Lemont and a sister, Mrs. J.M. Bailey of Bellview, Bullskin, 
Twp. The body is expected to reach Connellsville tomorrow and will be removed to the 
funeral parlor of C.C. Mitchell. The funeral service will be tomorrow or Wednesday at 
Normalville.
