Harman, 83, of 104 Roberts St., Belle Vernon, died Wednesday, Feb. 20, 1985, at his home. He was born in Crabtree March 27, 1901, a son of the late Harry E. and Esther Dunlap Harman. A member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and Lodge 638 F&AM, both of Monessen, he had lived in Belle Vernon for the last 25 years; formerly he resided in Monessen and Latrobe. He was a retired employee of American Chain Corp.'s Page plant, Monessen, where he was a reeler on the patent furnace. Surviving are his wife, Anna Gardner Harman; one brother, H. Jerome of Latrobe, and one sister, Mrs. Richard (Eloise) Crosby of Monessen. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in Ferguson Funeral Home, 700 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, and in the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church of Latrobe from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, at which time a service will be held with Pastor Reinold Schlak of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Monessen, officiating. Interment will follow in Unity Cemetery.
