It was cut out and put into a photo album by its original owner, who gave them to me in 1997. It is a copy of the original with no corrections to its spelling or punctuation. I have changed the format to fit it onto 1 page. HERRING, ETHEL IRENE Age 73, a resident of R.D. 1, McClellandtown, died in the Greene County Memorial Hospital at 5 p.m. on Saturday, July, 6, 1974. She was a daughter of the late William Henry and Lovina Tissue Frazee, previously of Markleysburg. Preceding her in death, beside her parents, was her husband, Thomas Windfield Herring. Surviving are one son, Kenneth Edward Herring of McClellandtown; two grandchildren; nine sisters, Iva Humbertson of Clarksburg, West Virginia, Viola May, Sidna Thomas, and Daisy Johns, all of Uniontown, Goldie Herring of Markleysburg, Lovina Stoner of Brea, California, Olive Cornelius and Ruby Stoner, both of Bradford, and Elsie Snyder of Front Royal, Virginia; one brother, Vernon Frazee of Greensburg. She was a member of the Presbyterian Grace Chapel Church, High House, and German Grange. Friends will be received in the T. Leonard Sangston Funeral Home, McClellandtown, today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Tuesday from 10:30 to noon, and in the Grace Chapel Church from 1 to 2 p.m., the hour of service, with Rev. Howard E. Brown and Rev. Harold O. Kelly officiating. Interment will follow in the United Presbyterian Church Hill Cemetery. German Crange will hold services at 7:30 p.m. today.
