His obituary appeared in the Lorain, OH, Lorain Journal dated April 28,
1982
Harry Robert O'Neal, 77, of Vermilion, Ohio. died yesterday after a
lengthy illness (Cancer) Born in Connellsville, PA June 27, 1904, he
lived in Vermilion since 1954, O'Neal retired from thr Loraine County
Highway Dept, in 1972. Surviving include his sons, Harry R. Jr., of
Hebron Indiana, John W. of Vermilion, and Fred A. of Sheffield
Village, daughters, Mrs. Jim Gavin of Toledo, and Mrs. Lois Jerina of
Cleveland; Sisters , Bessie Pritchard and Mary Bruce of Connellsville,
PA and 31 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren; his wife,
Hattie, died in 1978. Friends may call tomorrow at the Fisher-Riddle
Funeral Home, 5345 South St. Vermilion, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M.
Rites will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Ridge Hill
Memorial Park.
