I have changed the format to fit it onto 1 page. HONSAKER, David J., Age 69 years of 5 Park Ave., Masontown, died Monday, July 15, 1974 in the Uniontown Hospital. He was born January 23, 1905 in Masontown the son of the late Johnson and Gertrude Miller Honsaker. He was a retired funeral director having served in the community of Masontown for thirty four years as owner and director of the Honsaker Funeral Home. He was a member of the Masontown United Methodist Church, a life member, past president and honorary chief of the Masontown Volunteer Fire Dept., member and past president of the Masontown Rotary Club, Past District Governor of the Rotary International District 733, member of the Masontown Valley Lodge No. 459 F & A M, Uniontown Lodge of Perfection, 32nd Degree Mason, Valley of Pittsburgh, Syria Temple of Pittsburgh, Caravan No. 9, Tall Cedars of Lebanon, Forrest N. 152 of Uniontown, member and Past Master of the German Grange No. 785 and also the Pomono State and National Grange. He was preceded in death by his wife, Etta Brooks Honsaker on November, 1973; two sisters, MaDora Eslinger and Mabel Snell and a brother, Howard. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Thomas (Joanne) Dills of Churville, Pa.; three grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. C. W. (Jeannette) Ehni of Lombard, Ill., Mrs. Thomas (Gertrude) Kennedy of Carmichaels and Mrs. Walter (Kay) Goodman of W. Palm Beach, Fla. Friends will be received in the Grant R. Townsend Funeral Home, Masontown on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 10 p.m. and until Thursday at 11 a.m. the hour of service. Rev. Thomas Crenney will officiate. Interment in Greendale Cemetery.
