Connellsville Courier Dec 11, 1918: DANNY KELLY OF MOUNT PLEASANT DEAD OF WOUNDS Mount Pleasant, Nov 11. On Saturday Michael Kelly received a telegram from the War Department announcing the death of Danny Kelley, who died October 13 of wounds received in action. Dan Kelly was a member of Company E, 110th Infantry, and with his Irish wit furnished amusement for the greater part of the company. He was a member of the local high school and was one of the best known boys in town. Kelly had also attended the Holy Ghost College in Pittsburgh and had been a student at the University of Pittsburgh.
