Kissinger Everett J. (Babe) Kissinger, 79, of Fairchance, PA, died Thursday, Dec. 12, 1996, in Uniontown Hospital. He was born April 27, 1917, in Fairchance, son of the late Samuel C. and Nannie Sowers Kissinger. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his wife, Nellie M. Ruff Kissinger on January, 16, 1993; a son Thomas R. Kissinger on July 29, 1992; one sister, Naomi Davis; five brothers, Lloyd (Kissy) Kissinger, Byron (Peck) Kissinger, Owen (Bud) Kissinger, Curtis (Curt) Kissinger and Arthur (Benny) Kissinger; and his stepfather, Walter Tewell. Everett was the last surviving member of his family. Surviving are two sons, Jesse A. Kissinger and his wife, Pat of Goldsboro, NC, and Jerry Kissinger and his wife, Judy of Collier, PA; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Everett was an inspector for the U. S. Army Corp of Engineers. The family will receive friends in the Goldsboro-Tomi Funeral Home, 21 East Church St., Fairchance, today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and on Saturday, Dec. 14, 1996 from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m., the hour of service, with the Rev. Wayne L. Plyler and Fr. Anthony A. Wozniak officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery, Smithfield, PA.
