Pleasant died suddenly at his home on Sunday. He suffered a light stroke about a year ago. Mr. Lohr was born at Donegal Aug. 22, 1868, the son of the late Jeremiah C. and Sophia Miller Lohr, and spent most of his life at at Mt. Pleasant. He was a tinner and roofer by occupation, being employed by various concerns. He went to New Kensington abut a year ago. He was a member of the Mount Pleasant Free Methodist Church. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Mary E. May Lohr, and four sons; Russell W. of Warren Ohio, Leroy C. of Kittanning, Laird M. of Weirton, W. Va. and Lester J of Easton and three daughters, Mrs. Grace Hines of Detroit, Mich., Mrs. Edith Marr of New Kensington and Miss Mildred of Pittsburgh. There are 10 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. The remains will be taken to the home at New Kensington where they will remain until 5 p.m. Tuesday when they will be removed to the Clyde B. Brooks funeral home at Indian Head. The funeral service will be held at Brooks chapel at 2 p.m. Wednesday in charge of Rev. Walter Farris, pastor of the Grace Community United Presbyterian Church of New Kensington. Burial will be made in Scottdale Cemetery.
