The mangled body of James Malia was found lying along the track near Murphy's Siding, in Fayette county, at 10 o'clock, Saturday night. The flash of a headlight brought the body into view. The supposition is that the unfortunate man, in returning home from Connellsville, boarded the wrong car and upon discovering his mistake got off near the Echard farm. It Is thought that a car going toward Connellsville struck him, as he was crossing the track. He was 53 years of age and unmarried. He was born in England but had lived in this country a greater part of his life, being in the employ of the Frick Coke Company at Leisenring. Twenty years ago his mother was killed by a street car at Leisenring while some time ago a brother-in-law met death in the mines. He is survived by a brother, Joseph, of Baggaley, and by two sisters: Mrs. Mary Linney, of Leisenring and Mrs. Wm. Lawlor, of Sygan. The funeral services were held in St. Vincent de Paul's Church, Leisenring, this morning.
