October 5, 1918 Connellsville Courier LYDA MARIETTA. When she fell on a stove at her home at Mill Run yesterday morning, Mrs. Lyda Marietta, about 45 years old, was so severely burned about the body that it is feared she cannot recover. Mrs. Marietta arose yesterday morning before other members of the family were awake and was building a fire in the stove when she met with the accident. She had not been in the best of health of late and the supposition is that she fainted and fell. Before other members of the family discovered her misfortune one side of Mrs. Marietta was so badly burned that her kidney was exposed. She was brought to Connellsville this morning and removed to the Cottage State hospital. Mrs. Marietta is the widow of Ross Marietta of Mill Run and is one of the best known residents of Springfield township. She is a sister-in-law of Frank Dull and Mrs. Z. S. Moon of Connellsville and is very well known here. Two sons, Harold and Robert Marietta, are somewhere in France.
