Mrs. Sarah Martin Mother of B. L. Berg Dies at Brookville

Mrs. Sarah Ann Beal Martin, 95 year old mother of B.L. Berg of East Cedar Avenue
at 5:30 Sunday afternoon at Brookville where she lived with her son-in-law and
daughter Mr. and Mrs. C. V. Snader. Mrs. Martin was a former resident of this city.

Mrs. Martin was twiced married in 1862 she married Jacob R. Berg of Indian Head.
His death occurred in 1877. To this union were four children born two of whom
survive. They are B. L. Berg and C. A. Berg the latter of Erie. In 1880 Mrs.
Berg married Peter Martin and one child, Mrs. Snader was born to them. Mr.
Martin's death was in 1896.

Mrs. Martin has been a member of the Methodist Protestant Church of here for 55
years. The body was moved to the home of Mr. and Mrs. B. L. Berg by Funeral
Director C. B. Brooks of Indian Head. Arrangements for the funeral have not been
completed.

Sarah Ann Beal was born 30 Apr 1841 d/o Daniel Nicholas Beal and Mary Lichty.
Her children by Jacob R. Berg were: William, Benjamin L., Ida May (md. William
Thomas Goodwin) and Charles Arthur Berg 
Her child by Peter Martin was: Mary Lulu Martin (md. Carroll V. Snader)
