This obituary come from an unknown paper. It was cut out and 
put into a photo album by its original owner, who gave them 
to me in 1997. It is a copy of the original with no corrections 
to its spelling or punctuation. I have changed the format 
to fit it onto 1 page.

McCANN, J. WAYNE (JACK)  Age 60 years Of 100 Ashcraft Court, Clarksburg,
West Virginia died Sunday. December 19, 1971 at 4 p.m. in St. Mary's 
Hospital after an extended illness. He was born January 17, 1911 in 
McClellandtown the son of the late Harry L. and Gertrude Wolfe McCann. 
Surviving are his wife Am Humbertston McCann; his step-mother, 
Mrs. Lillian McCann., Scottdale; one son, Larry Wayne at home; one
daughter, Mrs. Michael (Patricia Ann) Sturm, Bridgeport, W. Va.; 
a half sister, Mrs. Alva Jordan, West Alexander, Pa. Preceding him in 
death was one sister. He was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church. 
Friends will be received in the Davis-Weaver Funeral Home,
329 E. Main Street, Clarksburg, West Virginia until 10 a.m. Wednesday. 
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in St. Mark's Lutheran 
Church with Rev. Russell Riethmiller officiating. Interment will be 
in Church Hill Cemetery, McClellandtown. Brief graveside services will 
be held at 2 p.m. at the cemetery.
