SUSAN MEANS Connellsville, Pa Weekly Courier dated Thursday, Feb. 9, 1928 Mrs. Susan Means, 82 years old, widow of Thomas Means, died at 10:15 o'clock Monday night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Samuel Goodwin, at Trotter. She had been in poor health for the past two years and for three months had been confined to her bed. Mrs. Means was a daughter of Samuel and Mary Davis Eicher. She was born at Indian Head and spent all her life in the region. In 1863 she married Thomas Means. He died several years ago. Survives include three daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Davis of Akron, Ohio, Mrs. J.A. Saunders of Flint, Mich. and Mrs. Goodwin; two sons, Albert and T.F. Means, both of this city, and three brothers, A.D.. Eicher of Calverton, VA, J.N. of Mill Run and William Eicher of Scottdale. Mrs. Means was a member of the Methodist Protestant Church of this city.
