The Daily Courier Nov 1918
Following an illness with complications Mrs. Sarah Beal, 75 year old wife of W.
M. Beal died Saturday at her home in Indian Head. Funeral services will be held
tomorrow morning at 10:00 from the home.  Rev. Walker of Somerset will
officiate. Interment will be made in Hopewell Cemetery. Survivors include her
husband, a son L. M. Beal of Indian Head, and two daughters, Mrs. Leroy Sparks
of East Connellsville and Mrs. S. C. Brooks of Somerset.  Mrs. Beal has resided
in Indian Head for sometime and is widely and favorably known.

Additional Comments:
Sarah H. Miller was born Nov 1845 in Fayette Co. the daughter of George B.
Miller and Sarah Hess.  She married William Lichty Beal 23 Nov 1865. They had
six children: Mary L., Nancy Francina, Lloyd M.(md. Sadie E. Griffith), Iva Nora
(md.Samuel Clyde Brooks), Laura Belle, and Luzetta Viola (md. LeRoy Sparks).
