MOORE, HARRY GROVE - age 71 years, husband of Emma Tuit Zinn Moore, died in the Uniontown Hospital, Tuesday morning, December 27, at 2:20 o'clock. He was a resident of Uniontown R. D. 4, South Union Township. Born April 28, 1879, In German Township, he was the son of the late Aaron and Naomi Grove Moore. He was a partner of the Hoover & Moore Distillery at Fairbank; and later a farmer and an employee of the H. C. Frick Coal Co. He was a member of the Fayette County Fox Hunters Association; the Palmer Local 6548, U.M.W.A. Surviving besides his wife and three children of a former marriage: Mrs. D. J. (Mary Elizabeth) Hunter of Carlisle; John Bailey Moore with the U. S. Army in Honolulu, and H. Grove Moore, Jr., of St. Petersburg, Florida; four grandchildren; one brother: Charles A. Moore of Fairbank; one sister: Mrs. George (Mary E.) Porter, Jr. Friends are being received in the Minerd Funeral Home, W. Main St., after one o'clock Wednesday, December 27. Main St., until Friday afternoon, Dec 29, at 2:00 o'clock, where funeral services will be held with Dr. Lorne H. Belden of the Third Presbyterian church officiating. Interment in Sylvan Heights cemetery under the direction of the C. B. Dearth Sons Funeral Home, New Salem. Active pallbearers will be, Robert McClernan, Clark McClernan, George P. Hoover, A. R. Cramer, E. Gadd Snider, H. H. Murray. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Fayette County Fox Hunters Association.
