I have changed the format to fit it onto 1 page. Morgan Funeral Sunday Mrs. Kathryn (Sutton) Morgan, 82, of 56 Water St., Smithfield, died today in Uniontown. Hospital. She was a retired school teacher, having taught for 47 years in Georges Twp., was a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church for 50 years, and was a member and past president of Burdett Sunday School Class and superintendent of the children's department for more than 50 years. She served as church treasurer for 32 years, was dean of Smithfield Vacation Bible School for 38 years, and was a member of the Smithfield Golden Age and past president of the Smithfield American Legion Auxiliary. Born in Smithfield, she was the daughter of the late Ira and Elizabeth Dils Sutton. Surviving are her husband, Earl L. Morgan; and a brother, Charles Sutton of Smithfield. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Maude Pugh and Lucy Hittie, and two brothers, Jacob W. Sutton and Ewing R. Sutton. The family will receive friends in the John F. Brownfield Funeral Home, Smithfield, from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday, and until 2 p.m. Sunday, the hour of service, with Rev. Nelson Krute and Rev. Paul Tarcy officiating. Burial will be in the Smithfield IOOF Cemetery.
