It was later photocopied and given to me in 2002. It is a transcription of this photocopied original with no corrections to its spelling or punctuation. EDITH B. MOSS Miss Edith B. Moss, 56, life long resident of New Salem, died at her home Monday morning, January 4, 1932, at 5:40 as the result of complications following two weeks' illness of pneumonia. Surviving are one sister, Ola, at home, and two neices, Miss Mary Moss at home, and Mrs. Helen Faber, of Greensburg. Deceased was a daughter of Joseph H. and Hannah L. Moss, being preceded in death by her father on February 8, 1931; also a sister, Mrs.Katie Wassam, on June 17, 1930. For years she has been one of the most active members of the New Salem Presbyterian church, and was at the time of her death a member of the Berean Class of the Sunday school. At 1 o'clock Wednesday, the body will lie in state in the Presbyterian church from which funeral services will be held at 2:30, with the Rev. H. W. Kilgore officiating, the casket being closed just prior to the hour of the service. Burial will be in Sylvan Heights cemetery.
