It was later photocopied and given to me in 2002. It is a transcription of this photocopied original with no corrections to its spelling or punctuation. Handwritten date on obituary Feb. 8, 1931 JOSEPH H. MOSS Joseph H. Moss, a native of Fayette county, died at 11:40 p.m., Sunday of a complication of diseases incident to advanced age. He was born near New Salem December 28, 1850, and at the time of his death was making his home with two surviving daughters, Misses Ola and Edith Moss. In addition to the daughters he is survived by two grandchildren, one brother, J. Allen Moss of Lincoln, Neb., and one sister, Mrs. Marjory Hindman, Beechwood, Wis. One sister, Sarah Ellen Moss, and two children, Wade Moss and Mrs. Kate Wassan, preceded him in death. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the home, the Rev. H. W. Kilgore, pastor of New Salem Presbyterian church, officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
