It was cut out and put into a photo album by its original owner, who gave them to me in 1997. It is a copy of the original with no corrections to its spelling or punctuation. I have changed the format to fit it onto 1 page. NEWMAN, ANDREW E.Born May 4, 1886, he died at the age of 82 years in the Shawlley Nursing Home, Youngstown, Pa. at 9:25 p.m., December 4, 1968. He was a former well known resident of McClellandtown and was a member of McClellandtown Vol. Fire Dept. Messmore Rod and Gun Club, a member of Valley Lodge, 458, F. & A.M.. Masontwon; a member of the Uniontown Lodge of Perfection and a member of the Consistory of Pittsburgh. He was a former employe of the H. C. Frick and U. S. Steel Co. as a surveying engineer. He made his home with a daughter, Mrs. Jack N. (Wilma) Newman Wood of 134 Manchester Drive, Irwin, Pa. Besides Mrs. Wood he is survived by the following children, Clarence of McClellandtown; Paul of McClellandtown; Curtis of McClellandtown; Mrs. Glenn (Elizabeth) Woodward of Masontown; also ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Nora Kidd of Uniontown; Mrs. Margaret Reppert of Morgantown, W. Va., his wife Mabel Coffman Newman, preceded him in death in January, 1943. Friends will be received in the T. Leonard Sangston Funeral Home, McClellandtown after 2 p.m. today, where services will be conducted Sunday, December 8, at 1 p.m. with Rev. Fred A. Prezioso, officiating. Interment will be in Jacob Lutheran Cemetery. Valley Lodge No. 459 of Masontown will conduct ritualistic services Saturday at 8 p.m.
