I have changed the format to fit it onto 1 page. NICHOLSON, WILLIAM C. Age 78 years, of R.D.2, Smithfield, Pa., died Wednesday, July 22, 1981, in the Uniontown Hospital. He was born January 17, 1903, in Smithfield, Pa., R.D., and was the son of the late G. W. and Nancy Core Nicholson. He was a lifelong resident of the Smithfield area. He was a retired Heavy Equipment Operator, and a Veteran of World War II He was a member of the VFW Post 47, Uniontown, and Amend Rod & Gun Club. He was predeceased by his wife, Pearl Schnatterly Nicholson, a son, Meredith Wayne Nicholson, and a grandson, Glenn Evnas. Surviving are a son, Jack Doran Nicholson, New Orleans, La.; five grandchidlren; three sisters, Mrs. Marie Fox Sesler, Beckeley, W.Va., Mrs. Walter (Margaret) Fretts, Masontown, R.D., and Mrs. Wallace (Gladys) McDougle, McClellandtown. Friends will be received in the Grant R. Townsend Funeral Home, 220 S. Main St., Masontown, this evening 7 to 9, and Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and Saturday until 1 p.m., the hour of service. Rev.Raymond Gordon. will officiate. Interment in Jacobs Lutheran Cemetery, Masontown, R.D.
