NIXON, MISS JANET HALE Age 69 years, of High House St., Smithfield, died suddenly Wednesday, June 24, 1970 in her home. She was the daughter of the late William S. and Mary Abraham Nixon of Uniontown. She was high school librarian at Clairton, Pa. for 35 years. Surviving are a brother, Donald R. Nixon of Daytona Beach, Fla.; a sister, Mrs. Eleanor Barnes of Fayette Bank Bldg., Uniontown, several nieces and nephews and a cousin, Mrs. Arthur Sloughly of Valley Forge, Pa. She was predeceased by three brothers, Ray D. Nixon, William S. Jr. and James A. Nixon. She was also predeceased by an aunt Perie Abraham. Friends will be received in the James B. Vance Funeral Home, Smithfield today from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m., and Saturday until 2:30 p.m., the hour of service with Rev. C. Smith Hixson officiating. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Uniontown.
