The Daily Courier, March 15, 1919 PETER J. O'CONNOR OBIT The funeral of Peter J. O'Connor held this morning at 8:30 o'clock from the family residence in North Third street. (cannot read which church) The church was filled to its utmost capacity with relatives and friends of the deceased and previous to the services, hundreds of persons visited the O'Connor home to extend their sympathy to the grief-stricken family. Solemn requiem high mass was celebrated by Rev. Father John T. Burns, assisted by Rev. Father McNanamy and Rev. Father Henry DeVivo. The floral tributes were many and unusually beautiful, the room being nearly filled with large baskets, set pieces and bouquets of roses, lilies and other cut flowers. The pallbearers were Thomas Irwin, J. M. Keane, J. L. Conway, J. J. Brady, G. K. Mentzer and J. L. Lowney. The interment was made in St. Joseph's cemetery.
