 Connellsville Courier October 10, 1922

 GEORGE PARFITT OBIT , Mount Pleasant George Parfitt, 76 years old, died
 yesterday afternoon at his home in Walnut Street.  He had been a
 resident of this community  since 1886 or 88.  Crease in paper at this
 point.  Something about employment at the H.C. Frick Coke Company and
 then conducted the Parfittown Hotel retiring about 15 years ago.  He was
 a member of  the Re-Union Presbyterian Church.  He is survived by his
 second wife who was Mrs. Copeland, and 11 children.  The children are:
 John M. of whom nothing is known; William G. Pittsburgh; Alexander,
 Denver, Colo; Arthur L., Bovard; Ben F. and Thomas, Mount Pleasant;
 Webster; Wilkinsburg; Mrs. Agnes Queer and Mrs. Grace Copeland and Mrs.
 William Meredity, Mount Pleasant, and Mrs. William Dugan, Cleveland.
 The funeral service will be held at the home Thursday at 2 o'clock.
