PATTERSON, RAYMOND (RAY) C.---Age 79 years of 192 Derrick Avenue died in the
Uniontown Hospital Saturday, September 11, 1971 at 3:10 p.m.  He was the son
of the late William Ward and Matilda Williams Patterson.  He was a member of
the Brownfield United Methodist Church, the Leland Bible Class of Christ
United Methodist Church, Uniontown, the Junior Order Of United American
Mechanics, and the F.O. Eagles No. 828, Uniontown.  Surviving are his wife,
Myrtle Hebb Patterson; four sons, Donald Raymond of Bethel Park, John Ward of
Colonia, N.J., Kenneth Dale of Pittsburgh, Francis Keith of Wyandotte, Mich.;
three daughters, Mrs. Marcel (Anna Katherine)Wetter, White House Station,
N.J., Mrs. Delores Elaine Johnson, Southgate, Mich., and Mrs. Nellouise Uhas,
Wyandotte, Mich.; 25 grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; one brother,
Ralph Patterson, Brownfield; one sister, Mrs. Nell Curstead, Brownfield.  He
was predeceased by one daughter Marjorie Jean in 1947.  Friends will be
received in the Jerome W. Shell Funeral Home, 164 S. Mt. Vernon Avenue today
from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and until Tuesday 1 p.m., the hour of service with
Rev. Alvin K. Smith and Rev. James Johnson officiating.  Interment will be in
the Hopwood Cemetery.  The Junior Order of United American Mechanics will hold
services this evening at 8.
