   PATTERSON, ANNA M. -- Aged 77, Brownfield, died in Uniontown Hospital, 
Wednesday March 13, 1963 at 1:30 a.m.  Born in Fairchance, she was the 
daughter of the late Michael and Ella Conn Franks.  She was predeceased by her 
husband, Luke Patterson, in 1954; a son, Dr. William W. Patterson in 1960; and 
a daughter, Mrs. Dolores Brewer in 1956.  She is survived by one son, James C. 
of Youngwood; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; one brother, 
Leland Franks of Warren, Ohio; one sister, Ella Ludwick, Guilford College, 
N.C.  She was a member of the Brownfield Methodist Church.  She was president 
of the Ladies Bible Class for many years; a member of the Gladys Rebekah Lodge 
103 and Col. Andrew Lynn Chapter of the DAR.  Friends will be received after 2 
p.m. today in the Wagner-Cooley Funeral home, Fairchance, until noon Friday 
and in the Brownfield Methodist Church from 1 until 2 p.m., the hour of 
service.  Rev. James W. Martin will officiate.  Interment will be in Mountain 
View Memorial Park.  The DAR will conduct services this evening until 7 
o'clock.  ***
