Patterson Was Pitt Graduate, Navy War Veteran: Uniontown, Feb. 6---Dr. William W. Patterson, a Fairchance dentist, died yesterday at his residence, RD2, Hopwood-Fairchance Road. Dr. Patterson, 51, a graduate of the Univ. of Pittsburgh Dental School, practiced in Uniontown for 11 years before moving his office to Fairchance. He was a veteran of World War II and served as a Navy Lieutenant in the South Pacific. Dr. Patterson was a member of the Fairchance Presbyterian Church, past commander of American Legion Post 342, past-president of the Fairchance Borough Commissioners, and held memberships in the Fairchance Exchange Club and the George Marshall Post of the Amvets. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Margaret Elsey Patterson; two sons, Luke of Ronco and David of Arlington, Va; two daughters, Mrs. Linda Davis of Arlington and Diana Jean; his mother, Mrs. Anna Patterson of Brownfield; a brother, James C., and two grandchildren. Friends will be received at the family home after 7 p.m. today. Services will be Tuesday at the Fairchance Presbyterian Church with burial in Mountain View Cemetery in Brownfield.
