PATTERSON, RALPH G.--Age 85 years, of Brownfield, Pa.,(Hopwood-Fairchance Rd.) 
died Friday, May 21, 1982, at 8 a.m., in Mt. Macrina Manor Nursing Home, 
Uniontown, Pa.  Surviving are his wife, Mae Gorley Patterson; a son, Wendell, 
Uniontown.  He was predeceased by the following brothers and sisters, Kate 
Patterson, Sadie Rumbaugh, Nell Curstead, Daisey Mankins, Ray, Frank, Lee, and 
Luke Patterson.  He was a member of the Brownfield United Methodist Church, 
Men's Bible Class, member and past commander of VFW Post47, Uniontown, and JR. 
O.U.A.M.  He was employed with South Union Schools for 30 years, and O.C. 
Cluss Lumber Co.  He was a veteran of World War I, serving with the 80th 
Division.  The family will receive friends in the James W. Goldsboro Funerla 
Home, Fairchance, today 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and Monday until 1 p.m., the 
hour of service.  Rev. Scott McCormick will officiate.  Interment in Mountain 
View Memorial Park.  Military rites will be accorded by the VFW Post 47, 
Uniontown.
