It was cut out and put into a photo album by its original owner, who gave them to me in 1997. It is a copy of the original with no corrections to its spelling or punctuation. I have changed the format to fit it onto 1 page. PETERS, DR. EDWIN S. Age 60 years of 610 N. Main St., Masontown, died April 8, 1975 in the Uniontown Hospital. He was a General Practitioner in the Masontown area since 1940. He was a graduate of W.Va. University, and the Northwestern Medical School. He served his internship at Mercy Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was a member of the American Medical Association, Pennsylvania Medical Association, Fayette County Medical Association. He was a member of the Staff of the Uniontown Hospital, and was a member of the Masontown American Legion and the VFW, BPOE, Uniontown, and the Pittsburgh Athletic Association (PAA). He was a Veteran and Captain in World II. Surviving are his wife; Jane F. Peters; the following children, Stephen A. Peters, Uniontown, David Peters, Pamona, Cal., and Joanne Pillinger, Park City, Utah; four grandchildren; the following brothers and sisters, Mrs. Mildred Brain, Masontown, Dr. Jerome F. Peters, Bethesda, Md., Dr. Robert J. Peters, Uniontown, Kenneth J. Peters, Holly, Michigan, and Dr. Richard C. Peters, Camp Hill, Pa. He was predeceased by his mother, Agnes A. Peters on April 5, 1975. The Family will receive friends in the Yoney Funeral Home, Masontown, today 7 to 9 p.m. Private Funeral Services will be held Thursday. Please omit flowers.
