This obituary came from an unknown paper. It was cut out and put into a
scrapbook by its original owner.  It was later photocopied and given to me in 2002.
It is a transcription of this photocopied original with no corrections to its
spelling or punctuation.


MARTHA R. POUNDSTONE

   Martha Rebecca Poundstone, aged 68 years and one day, wife of Mack Poundstone,
died in the family residence Saturday night, April 9, 1932, at 11:15 o'clock,
following a brief illness of complications.  In addition to her husband the
following brothers and sisters also survive:  Mrs. Elizabeth Provins, Salem,
Ohio; Mrs. Katie Goodwin, Fairchance; Dal. Moore, Monongahela, and John Moore,
of Dallas, Texas.
   The funeral cortege will meet at the residence Tuesday afternoon at 1:30
o'clock from where it will proceed to the Fairchance Presbyterian church where
services will be solemnized.  Burial in Jacobs Lutheran cemetery.
