RIDGE, JOHN THOMAS Age 62 years husband of Merle Davidson Ridge of Fredericktown, R. D., died suddenly at home Thursday afternoon, May 16, 1968 following a lingering illness. He was born in Luzerne Twp. on July 29, 1905 and was the son of the late George and Margaret Swan Ridge. He was a member of Mt. Zion Methodist Church of Fredericktown. R. D. He was employed with the Pa. State Highway as an Engineer Inspector. In addition to his wife he is survived by the following children, Thomas of Bridgeport., Conn., John (Jack) at home; Mrs. Stanley (Judy) Cook of Huston, Pa.; one grandchild; one aunt, Dessie Haney of Luzerne Twp. Friends are being received in the Dearth Funeral Home, New Salem, until 2 p.m. Sunday the hour of service with Rev. Kent Lighthall officiating. Interment in Church Hill Cemetery, McClellandtown.
