It was cut out and put into a photo album by its original owner, who gave them to me in 1997. It is a copy of the original with no corrections to its spelling or punctuation. I have changed the format to fit it onto 1 page. Mrs. Riffle Death Told Alyce Riffle of Adah, died at her residence yesterday at the age of 58. She was the daughter of the late Earl A. and Edith I. Snyder of Elizabethtown. She was a member of Jacobs Lutheran Church and an officer in the children's Sunday School Class. She was also past matron of the Eastern Star, Uniontown Laurette Chapter No. 178, Margaret E. Caven Shrine No. 42 and an active member of the PTA, Band Mothers and other civic affairs in Adah. Surviving are her husband, Harry E. Riffle and the following children: Lt. Comm. Earl R. Riffle, Lt. Ronald K. Riffle and Lt. Donald L. Riffle, all in the U. S. Navy; two granddaughters. Friends will be received in the Sangston Funeral Home, McClellandtown, after 8 p.m. today and on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Friday, from 10 a.m. to noon and in Jacobs Lutheran Church from 1 to 2 p.m. the hour of service with Rev. Paul Markovits officiating. Burial will be In Jacobs Lutheran Cemetery.
