It was cut out and put into a photo album by its original owner, who gave them to me in 1997. It is a copy of the original with no corrections to its spelling or punctuation. I have changed the format to fit them onto 2 pages. RIFFLE, GEORGE N. (DR.) Age 68 years, died in tile Uniontown Hospital. Thursday, December 23, 1965 at 3:45 p.m. He is survived by his wife, Nola Moore Riffle, and the following children. Dr. George N. Riffle II of Philadelphia. Pa.; Kathryn Louise Riffle of Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. John E. Riffle serving with the U.S. Army and Robert M. at, home; one granddaughter, Susan Kathryn and a half-brother. Edward Ray Riffle of McClellandtown. Friends will be received in the T. Leonard Sangston Funeral Home. McClellandtown after 7:30 this evening and on Saturday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m and on Sunday where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. with Rev. Thomas Conboy Jr. officiating. Interment in the family plot in Church Hill Cemetery, McClellandtown. Dr. George Riffle Dies In Hospital Dr. George Newcomer Riffle of McClellandtown, a practicing physician in that community and Fayette County for 42 years, died yesterday in Uniontown Hospital following a brief illness. Dr. Riffle was born at McClellandtown July 30, 1897, a son of the late Edward H. and Emma Newcomer Riffle. He attended German Twp. schools and West Virginia University, where he was a member of Delta Tau Delta. After graduating from Jefferson Medical College of Philadelphia in 1922, Dr. Riffle interned at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was a member of the Phi Rho Sigma Medical Fraternity at Jefferson. The McClellandtown native was a member of the American Medical Assn., Pennsylvania State Medical Society, and the Fayette. County Medical Society, where he served as president in 1952. Dr. Riffle was the physician at German Twp. High School the past 26 years. Survivors include his wife, Nola K. Moore Riffle: and four children, Dr. George N. Riffle, II, resident physician in Urology at Jefferson Medical College, Philadelphia; Kathryn Louise Riffle, instructor in nursing at Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio: Dr. John Edward Riffle, a captain in the U. S. Army Medical Corps serving as a flight surgeon in Korea Robert M. Riffle, a graduate student at West Virginia University, one granddaughter, Susan Kathryn Riffle, Philadelphia: one half-brother, Ray Riffle, McClellandtown. Friends will be received in the T. Leonard Sangston Funeral Home, McClellandtown. after 7:30 p.m, today, and on Saturday from 2-5 and 7-10 p.m., and on Sunday when services will be held at 2 p.m. Rev.
