JOHN G. ROSENSTEEL: Scottdale, Apr 4, John G. Rosensteel, 65, died at 4:30 o’clock Thursday afternoon at the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. And Mrs. Walter Keller of 104 High street, after a lingering illness. He was a lifelong resident of this community. He leaves his widow, Mrs. Elizabeth Faust Rosensteel; one daughter, Mrs. Keller; one son, Harry W. of Leisenring No. 1; one grandson Seaman 2/c James Keller with the U. S. Navy; two brothers, Roy H. Rosensteel of Connellsville and Elmer Rosensteel of Monongahela City and five sisters, Mrs. John McFadden and Mrs. G.H. Crosby of Scottdale, Mrs. John Lynch of Morgantown W. Va, and Mrs. Fred Upton of Fairmont, W. Va. Friends will be received at the Murphy funeral home. The funeral service will be held at 3 o’clock Monday afternoon at the Mount Joy Church of the Brethren, near Mount Pleasant, in charge of Rev. Walter Showalter. Burial will be made in the church cemetery.
