 Word has been received here of the death of Dr. J. F. Scott of Kingwood, W. Va. 
Dr. Scott was a brother of 
Thomas W. Scott of Connellsville.  He was born on the old Scott homestead between
Brandonville and 
Bruceton Mills, May 25, 1859.  In addition to his widow he is survived by one sister
and six brothers.  He 
graduated from the Medical Department of the Western Reserve University at
Cleveland, O.  In 1884 he 
passed the State medical examination and at once began the practice  of medicine.
