ANNA SHELLEY 1879-1944 Anna Shelley, 65 years old, widow of Harry Shelley of Scottdale, died August 11, 1944 at her home. Born in Ireland, she was the daughter of the late Martin and Mary McCarty McGarry. She came to this country 48 years ago. Anna Shelley is survived by the following children: John, Jr. of Scottdale, Henry of New Kensington, Mae (Mrs. John) Hampshire of Connellsville, Charles, in the Army, and Mrs. Anna Burrell of Charlotte, N.C.; 10 grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Katie Hanley of Burlington, NJ. HARRY H. SHELLEY 1876-1941 Harry H. Shelley, 65, died March 10, 1941, at home, following a lingering illness. Mr. Shelley was formerly employed by the U.S. Cast Iron Pipe Foundry of Scottdale and later the Briggs Lumber Company. He was born in Burlington, NJ. Mr. Shelley is survived by his widow, Mrs. Anna Shelley, and the following children: John of Scottdale, Henry of Everson, Mrs. Mae Hampshire and Mrs. Anna Burrell, both of Connellsville, and Charles, at home; and siblings Frank, John, Charles and Anna Shelley, all of Burlington, NJ. HENRY SHELLEY 1900-1969 Henry Shelley, 69, of Scottdale, died November 25, at Frick Community Hospital. He was born February 23, 1900 at Burlington, NJ, a son of the late Harry and Anna McGarry Shelley. He was a retired molder, formerly with the Valley Brass and Bronze works in New Kensington. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Mary Carnack Shelley; two sons, Henry, Jr. of Independence, MO and Daniel J., at home; three daughters, Marion (Mrs. Norman) Murray of Brandon, FL, Mrs. Patricia McConnell and Mrs. Gloria Schrock of Connellsville; 11 grandchildren; one brother, John, of Scottdale and two sisters, Mrs. Mae Hampshire of Connellsville, and Anna (Mrs. Christopher Pendergraft) of Charlotte, NC. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Dolores Shelley, in 1945.
