It was cut out and put into a photo album by its original owner, who gave them to me in 1997. It is a copy of the original with no corrections to its spelling or punctuation. I have changed the format to fit it onto 1 page. SHOAF, WILLIAM CALVIN, aged 83 years 6 months and 14 days, died at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Clarence Davis, of Uniontown R. D. 3, Saturday, March 13, at 8:45 p. m. He is survived by the following children, Russell, of Uniontown; Ray B., of Uniontown; Mrs. Maude Gaugler, of South Connellsville; Frank C., of Greensburg; Mrs. Cleveland Galletine of Mill Run; and Mrs. Clarence Davis, of Uniontown, R. D.; one brother, John of Uniontown; one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Tuit, of Uniontown; also 25 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife who died in 1933, and a son who, died in 1913. Funeral services will be held at the home of his daughter Mrs. Clarence Davis, Tuesday, March 16, at 2 p. m., with Rev. J. D. Stillwagon minister of the Walnut Hill Methodist church officiating. Burial in the Smithfield Baptist cemetery under the direction of the Honsaker Funeral Home, Masontown.
