I have changed the format to fit it onto 1 page. SMELL, JACOB P. Age 65 years of 18 Orchard Lane, died Wednesday, April 10, 1974 in the Uniontown Hospital at 11:05 a.m. He was born at German Twp., Pa., March 12, 1909 the son of the late Clyde and Mary Poundstone Smell. He was a member of the Third United Presbyterian Church and a former member of the Session and the John Knox Bible Class. He was a retired businessman and owner of the J.P. Smell Tire Service and the Jacob P. Smell Truck Brokerage for Cooper Jarrett Corp. Surviving are his wife, Mignon Nelson Smell; a daughter, Mrs. Janet Chambers of Uniontown; three brothers, Ewing and Edwin both of Balsinger, Pa. and Frank of Farmington; two sisters, Mrs. Alvin (Betty) Harbaugh of Rockville, Md. and Miss Catherine Smell of Balsinger; five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Joanne Smell Edenfield on August 11, 1973. Friends will be received in the Andrew D. Ferguson Funeral Home, 80 Morgantown St. after 7 this evening and Friday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and until Saturday at 11 a.m. and in the Third Presbyterian Church from 1 to 2:30 p.m. the hour of service. Rev. Karl W. Bowman Jr. will officiate. Internment in the Church Hill Cemetery, McClellandtown. The John Knox Class will hold services Friday at 7:30 p.m.
