I have changed the format to fit it onto 1 page. SPRINGER, MAXWELL W. Age 64 years of RD 1, McClellandtown, Pa., died Wednesday morning, May 12, 1976 in the Uniontown Hospital. He was born in Canton, South Dakota the son of the late J.D. and Janie Maxwell Springer. He was a life long farmer, and a deacon and elder of the McClellandtown United Presbyterian Church and a member of Light and Law Sunday School Class. a member of the Union Grange No. 1103, and chairman of A.S.C.S., a member of Pennsylvania Farmer's Association, a director of Southwestern Mutual Fire Insurance, and a member of the Atlantic Breeders Association and past president of the Agriculture Extension Association. He was predeceased by two brothers, Alfred Springer December 25, 1974 and J. D. Springer, Jr. April 30,1976. Surviving are his wife, Bertha Leasure Springer: three daughters, Mrs. Cloyde (Maxine) VanSickle of Uniontown, Pa., Mrs. Richard (Ruth) Townsend of McClellandtown, Pa. and Ethel Mae Springer at home; five grandchildren: one brother, Joseph Springer of Shellington, Pa.; one aunt. Mrs. Nell Honsaker of Uniontown. Friends will be received in the T. Leonard Sangston Funeral Home. McClellandtown this evening 7 to 9. Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and Saturday until 12 noon. and 1 to 2 p.m. in the McClellandtown United Presbyterian Church, the hour of service with Rev. Howard E. Brown and Rev. Leon Hironimus officiating. Interment in the Church Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Memorial Fund of the McClellandtown United Presbyterian Church or the Fairview Church of the Brethren.
