I have changed the format to fit it onto 1 page. STROSNIDER, ALICE L. McCRACKEN Age 84, a resident of 10 Liberty St., Smithfield, died following a lingering illness on Saturday, June 15, 1974 in Mount St. Macrina Nursing Home, Uniontown. She was born March 23, 1890 at Cameron, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Dr. John C. and Mary Lazear McCracken. She was a retired schoolteacher, and a member of local, state, and national teachers' associations. She was also a member of Asbury United Methodist Church, Uniontown, Sunday School and Missionary Society, College Club, Delta Kappa Gamma, Daughters of the American Revolution, and American University Women, In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Floyd S. Strosnider, in 1919, and one brother, Dr. J. Lazear McCracken, in 1953. Surviving are a nephew, Dr. Robert L. McCracken of Nashville, Tennessee, and a number of other nieces and nephews. Friends will be received in the Vance-Brownfield Funeral Home, Smithfield, today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and Tuesday until 11 a.m., the hour of service, with Rev. Thomas R. Thomas, pastor of Asbury United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Green Mount Cemetery, Waynesburg.
