October 5, 1918 Connellsville Courier LAURA STUCK, 19 years old, daughter of Charles Stuck of Ohiopyle, died yesterday morning in the Braddock hospital. Braddock following a three-week illness of typhoid fever. The body arrived at Ohiopyle yesterday afternoon and was removed to the family residence where funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon, with interment in Sugar Grove cemetery. The deceased was one of the best known young women of Ohiopyle and was held in high esteem by all her friends. Her father, a stepmother, who is in a critical condition, one sister, Miss Ethel Stuck, one stepbrother and several stepsisters survive. A brother, Herbert Stuck, was killed in action during the big battle on the Marne and Miss Stuck had been failing in health since receiving word of his death.
