This obituary come from an unknown paper. It was cut out and put into a photo album by
its original owner, who gave them to me in 1997. It is a copy of the original with no
corrections to its spelling or punctuation. I have changed the format to fit it onto 1 page.

TOLBERT, BESSIE S. NICHOLSON  A resident of 5 Snyder Terrace. Uniontown, died
in the Uniontown Hospital February 17. 1966 at 10:55 p.m. at the age of 87 years. She
was a member of the Central Christian Church of Uniontown, a member of the Willing
Workers Class of the Grace Chapel Church of High House, she was a charter member of
the German Grange, and a member of the Daughters of America, She is survived by her
husband Frank Tolbert. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. She was
predeceased by two sons, John and Arthur. Friends are being received in the T. Leonard
Sangston Funeral Home, McClellandtown, where services will be conducted at 2 p.m.
Sunday afternoon. with Dr. Earl P. Confer officiating. Burial will be in the LaFayette
Memorial Park cemetery. The German Grange will conduct ritualistic services at 8 this
evening.
