This obituary come from an unknown paper. It was cut out and put into a photo album by
its original owner, who gave them to me in 1997. It is a copy of the original with no
corrections to its spelling or punctuation. I have changed the format to fit it onto 1 page. 

WILLIAMS, MARY ELIZABETH   Age 84 years, of 155 Union Street, Uniontown, Pa.,
died Thursday, July 29, 1971, in the Uniontown Hospital. Born April 14. 1887 in
Midway, Pa. the daughter of the late William H. and Sara Davis Thomas. In addition to
her parents she was predeceased by her husband, David Williams, February 25, 1958.
She was a member of the Third Presbyterian Church and the Woman's Bible Class.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Thelma E. Lorenzi of Uniontown; and one son, Dr.
David E. Williams, of Uniontown; two foster sons: Daniel Thomas of Colwyn, Pa. and
John W. Thomas of Pittsburgh; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two sisters:
Mrs. Bertha Abernathy of Canonsburg and Mrs. Anne Huber of Library, Pa.; two
brothers: Joseph Thomas of Imperial and William Thomas of Youngstown, Ohio.
Friends will be received in the Andrew D. Ferguson Funeral Home, 80 Morgantown St.,
today from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be held Saturday, July 31, at 1:30
p.m. with Rev. James A. Adair, officiating. Interment will follow in Lafaytete Memorial
Park.
