Elsey - Patterson Nuptials Announced:
     Surprise and pleasure marked the announcement this morning of the
marriage of Miss Margaret Elsey, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R.F. Elsey,
Brownfield, to Dr. William W. Patterson, son of Mr. and Mrs. L.C. Patterson
also of Brownfield, which was an event of last April 13.
     The couple, who have closely guarded their secret, were united in
marriage by Rev. J.B. Hill in the pastorate of the Methodist Episcopal church
in Wellsburg, W. Va.  The ring service was used.
     Mrs. Patterson, who was unattended, was attired in a navy blue ensemble
with hat and accessories to match.
     The bride graduated from South Union township high school, class of 1930,
and the following year from the Office Training school here.  Her husband, a
dentist, graduated in 1926 from South Union and from University of Pittsburgh
in 1931.
     Plans for a residence still remain incomplete.
