Curstead, of Brownfield, and Aviation Cadet Bruce W. Sterling, son of Mrs. Mary W. Sterling, of Masontown.     The wedding took place at 1:30 o'clock, with Chaplain W.N. Roberts officiating at the early afternoon service.  The bride's mother, Mrs. Harry C. Curstead, and Lt. R.L. Seigel were the couple's only attendants.     The bride wore a becoming ensemble of blue velvet with matching hat, wine accessories and orchid corsage.  Mrs. Curstead wore a two-piece blue crepe suit, and shoulder corsage of pink rosebuds.     Originally the wedding was to have taken place in the Brownfield Methodist church, with Dr. A.E. Fletcher, Pittsburgh, uncle of the bride, officiating, Dr. Fletcher having married the bride's father and mother, and also her two sisters, Mrs. Boyd Dils and Mrs. Keith Allen.  Owing to Army regulations, Cadet Sterling was unable to get a furlough, however, and the bride-elect, accompanied by her mother, made the trip to Texas instead.     Mrs. Sterling will remain in Houston, Texas.  She formerly was employed in the office of the I.N. Hagan Ice Cream Company.  Prior to his enlistment in the Army Air Corps, the bridegroom was associated with the Masontown Post- office.
