We encourage links to the state and county table of contents. ______________________________________________________________ Will of Alva Allen I, Alva Allen of the township of Jefferson, County of Fayette and State of Penna, being of sound mind and disposing memory and knowing the uncertainty of life and the certainty of death, do make ordain and publish this the following as my last will and testament hereby revoking and making void all wills by me at any other time heretofore made. Item 1: To my grandson Alva Wolf I hereby give and bequeathe my watch. Item 2: To my granddaughter Ella Wolf I hereby will and bequeathe the sum of Fifty ($50) Dollars to be paid to her by my hereinafter named executor out of the first money available, after the payment of my doctor bills and funeral expences. Item 3: To my grandson Freddy Allen I hereby will and bequeathe my gun. Item 4: I hereby order and direct my hereinafter maned exector to sell at least the surface of my property within one year from the date of my decease. Should my heirs or a majority of them think it advisable however that the coal underlying this property be retained until such time as in their opinion may be more advantageous, then it is my wish that their wishes in the matter shall determine the time and manner of sale of said coal, as well as what they shall reguard as proper rights and priviliges to be given along with said coal to the purchaser there of. Item 5: As to the proceeds of the sale of my real estate I hereby order and direct my hereinafter named executor, after the payment of proper and legitimate expenses, to apply in the following manner, viz: To my daughter Eliza Thomas, one share: To my son William Allen on share: To the children of my deceased daughter Frances Virginia Wolf one share: To my son Alva Lemuel Allen on share: To my dayughter Amanda Jane Arrison on share. It is my wish that my exector shall pay the entire amount herein bequeathed to the children of my daughter Francis Virginis Wolf, to my grandaughter Ella Wolf, she to hold the same in trust, without bond, for the other children until they become of age, when she shall pay them their respective shares, retaining her own equal share therein. And finally I do hereby nominate, constitute and appoint John N. Wolf, husband of my deceased daughter Francis Virginia to be the executor of this my last will and testament. In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal and declared the foregoing to be my last will and testament, in the presence of two witnesses this seventh day of June A.D. 1895.
