We encourage links to the state and county table of contents. - - - - In the Name of God, Amen, I Daniel Baltzley of Bullskin township of the County of Fayette in the State of Pennsylvania Yeoman do hereby make this my last will and Testament revoking all others Suprimis to my Dearly beloved mother Frances Baltzley, I give and bequeath all my household goods and furniture as much as she shall choose and have use for I also give her six of my sheep--Then all of my Estate both Real and personal as bequeathed to me in and by the Last Will and Testament of my father Jacob Baltzly Deceased. I order and direct to be divided in three equal shares or parts. One equal part whereof I give and devise to my beloved brothers Jacob Baltzly and other equal part whereof I give to my beloved Nephew John S. Strickler son of my Sister Elizabeth intermarried to and with John Barnhart and the other equal third part I give and bequeath to my said Nephew John S. Strickler in trust to and for the use of my said Sister Elizabeth to paid to her for her support at such times and in manner so that her said husband John Barnhart shall have no control over any other part thereof all which bequests to be in perpetuity. Item to my said Nephew John S. Strickler I also give and devise all my quarter Section of Land, Number fourteen--Township and Range in which I own in the State of Ohio to him to his heirs and assigns forever I also give him one of my feather Beds. Then after the sale of all my goods and chattels not here before bequeathed and after my personal expences and all my just debts have been paid by my hereinafter mentioned Executors, it is my will that the over-plus or residue of the same shall be paid over to my said mother all which I give to her in perpetuity--Lastly I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint y said nephew John S. Strickler and John Shalleu the Executors of this my last will and Testament--In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the 24th day of June A.D. 1824. Daniel Baltzley Witnesses: Frederick Blocher Jacob Bideler On 5th day of July 1824, Before me, Moses McClean, Deputy Register of the Probate of Wills and Granting Letters of Administration in and for said county--Personally came Frederick Blocher and Jacob Bideler the signing witnesses to the foregoing Last Will and Testament and being duly affirmed according to law, did depose and say that they saw the testator sign and seal the foregoing as and for his last will and Testament where of sound mind and memory and that no undue influence had been used to thwart his Inclination in meaning said will or later will made by said deceased to their knowledge or belief--in Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal of said Office this 5th day of July 1824.
