We encourage links to the state and county table of contents. ____________________________________________________________ Will of Phebe Hart: Will Book 11, Page 96, Probated 1899. --------------------------------------------------------------------- In the Name of God Amen, I Phebe Hart of the Borough of Connellsville, Fayette County and State of Penna, being of sound mind memory and understanding do make and publish this my last will and Testament: First: I direct that all my debts and funeral expenses be duly paid: Second I give and bequeath unto my beloved Daughter Sarah E. Morris the sum of four ($400.00) Dollars. out of the note due from Nathan W. Morris. also her Fatheršs Photograph also one of Margaret and Cornelius, and one bureau and one folding stand. Third I give and bequeath unto my beloved Daughter, Mary V. Swift, all that certain house in which she resides situate in Connellsville aforesaid during her natural life, or so long as she lives separate and apart from her husband (Lewis Swift) and at her death or remarriage I give devise and bequeath the same to her children or to their heirs forever, share and share alike. I also give my said Daughter M.V. Swift three chairs, one Rocking Chair, one wash stand, one Bedstead, on eFether Ved, two Fether Pillows, one Bolster, one domestick sewing machine one piece of floured Carpet, one clock, and one large Guilt frame and picture. Fourth, I give and bequeath to my beloved Daughter Ellen Crawford, my mothers Photograph, one Temperance Picture, one piece of Home made Carpet, and Alexanders Memorial Picture and two hundred dollars in Money out of the Nathan W. Morris Note. Fifth I give and bequeath unto my beloved Son Mc Hart his Fatheršs Monumental Picture, one Round stand, one looking glass, and one willow-Rocking Chair: And as touching all the rest residue and remainder of my property of what mature or Kind, whatsoever, the same may be. I give an bequeath unto my said daughter Sarah E. Morris, Mary V. Swift and Mc hart share and share alike. And lastly I do hereby make Constitute my son McHart to be the Executor of this my last will and Testament. Register for the Probate of Wills and Granting Letters of Administration, in and for the said County, came John Kurtz, and Jennie Ridenour subscribing witnesses to the foregoing Instrument of writing, purporting to be the Last will and Testament of Phebe Hart, deceased, who being duly sworn according to Law did each depose and say that they were personally present, and saw the said Phebe hart, sign and seal the foregoing Instrument of writing by making her mark, and heard her declare the same to be her last will and Testament, when of sound and disposing mind and memory to the best of their belief: That they signed their names as witnesses therto by request of the said Testatrix in her presence, and in the presence of each other. That they know of no undue influence being used in making said will or any later will made.
