In the name of God Amen I David Jennings of the Township of German in the County of Fayette and State of Pennsylvania being of sound mind and memory but considering the uncertainty of this life do therefore make ordain publish and declare this to be my last will and testament. That is to say first after all my lawfull debts are paid the residue of my Estate real and personal I give bequeath and dispose of as follows to wit. My homestead farm containing seventy five acres more or less I give & bequeath to my Brothers Henry and Johnathan together with all the improvements and appurtenances thereto belonging Henry to Enjoy the entire premises for eighteen months from and after my death without any charge except the payment of the taxes. After the expiration of the Eighteen months then Jonathan to have one equal half of said Farm. Further I give and bequeath to my Brother Henry my two horses and my interest in the sorrel also my young mare colt also he is to have and enjoy my three year old mare by his paying one hundred dollars any time within three years from my death to the following named persons my will is that he pay to my sister Sarah intermarried John Brookover the sum of Twenty-five dollars also my will is that he pay to my sister Mary intermarried to Thomas Morrison the sum of Thirty seven dollars and fifty cents and the ballance which is Thirty seven dollars and fifty cents I give and bequeath to my sister Rhoda intermarried to David Auld. Further I will and bequeath to my sister Elizabeth intermarried with William Langhead the sum of one hundred dollars to be paid to her within five years without interest. Further I give and bequeath to my Brother Jacob's son Henry one man's Saddle new with Brass Sumps. Further I give and bequeath to my Brother Henry all my grain flour meat hay straw wagon ploughs harness together with all my Farming implements. Further I will and bequeath to my Brother Henry's son David my riding Saddle and Bridle. Further I will and bequeath to said David mentioned above the sum of one hundred dollars to be paid to him when he arrives at the age of twenty one years. Further I will and bequeath to Elizabeth Jennings Daugt of Henry my red & white motley cow. Further I will and bequeath to Sarah Jennings Daught of Henry my yearling heffer white and red also I will and bequeath to Elizabeth & Sarah Jennings Daughts of Henry all my interest in my mother's bed & bedding to be divided Equal between them. Further I give & bequeath to my Brother Jonathan my best bedstead & bedding also any white cow & calf and three pairs of boots. Further I give and bequeath to Catharine Jennings wife of Henry my other bedstead & bedding and my cuppboard & dishes & tables together with all my household & Kitchen furniture except my chest which I will and give to my nephew David Jennings son of Henry. My wearing apparel I will and bequeath to David & Nathan Jennings sons of Henry Equally. Further I will and bequeath to my four sisters namely Sarah Mary Elizabeth and Rhoda my mother's wearing apperal to be divided share & share alike. Further after the foregoing bequests are complied with my will and desire is that my Brother Henry and Jonathan shall have all the residue of my money on hand and standing out in notes or otherwise to be divided between them share & share alike. Likewise I make constitute and appoint my Brother Henry Jennings and John Wilson Esq. to be Executors of this my last will and Testament hereby revoking all former wills by me made. In witness whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name and affirmed my seal this 19th Day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty five David Jennings seal The above written instrument was subscribed by the said David Jennings in our presence and acknowledged by him to each of us and he at the same time published and declared the above Instrument & subscribed to be his last will and Testament and we at the Testators request and in his presence have signed our names as witnesses hereunto and written opposite our names our respective places of residence Josiah S.
