John of Fayette County and the State of Pennsylvania being weak of body from disease Do make constitute & appoint this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all others… 1st I will my soul to him that gave it & my Body to be entered in a Christian like manner at the discretion of my friends…2nd I will that my Executors pay all just and lawfull debts of my contracting out of my personal Estate and the balance if any equally divided between my four sisters and brother. 3rd I will my Interest of and to my Fathers Estate Exclusively to my only brother Samuel. 4th I will that my thirty four and three fourth of Land purchased of my Uncle Basil Bowell to my three Sisters and Brother namely Rachel Ruth Samuel & Lavina to endemnify them for Money of these made use of by me to be equally divided between them after deduction Eighty four Dollars which I owe to my first named Sister Rachel… 5th and lastly, I will the James C. Todd and Enos Sturgis be and by these presents do constitute and appoint them Executors of this my Last will and Testament in testimony hereof I have set my hand and seal the 6th October 1826.
